Happy New Year!

Wow! New year already! 2021 Went by so fast, including this first month! Time to share thoughts for the day, as a home inspector 2021 was full of surprises. Market pricing has taken off through the roof. On average we’re seeing home prices double-up, inventory numbers are at lowest, clearly a sellers market!

My home market pricing has gone up from $200-K to $350,000. Sure, sounds good, I could make some serious money for selling but, where next? Not interested in taking that step, happy and of course content where were at. Having said that, the inspection business is booming! Busiest I’ve been ever, doing this for 20 years.

New construction homes are going up in record numbers!! Several great benefits to buying new, choices for location are abundant, well built homes, all come with builders 1-year warranty. endless options on styles and upgrades. Food for thought, discuss with family, friends and a market professional. Makes sense for some, others not so much. Think it out, weigh it out, and do what’s right for you and your family!
